What do you do in a typical tennis lesson?

1-1 private lesson: Structure depends on your level. Beginners get the basics with lots of repetition. Advanced players get more live-ball drills and point play. We also cover strategy and tactics. Be ready to work. There’s no one else to take turns with.

2 to 3 players sharing the lesson: Same idea as a private, plus hitting with a partner in game-like situations. You’ll get personal coaching on your strokes and point play, and I’ll help you play more intelligent tennis with proper court positioning and shot selections.

Do you teach both adults and kids?

Yes. Kids ages 10–18 and all adults.

What about tennis level? Do you teach all levels?

Yes. Complete beginners through advanced and tournament players.

How do I schedule a lesson?

Email [email protected] with your availability. I usually reply within 24 hours. Lessons are at El Dorado Park Tennis Center, 2800 N. Studebaker Rd, Long Beach CA 90815.

What payment do you accept? Do I pay you or the front desk?

See current private lesson rates on the home page. Pay Coach Andrew in cash at the end of the lesson (not at the front desk).

What is your cancellation policy for private lessons?
